Wilton Library & Community Center
Where Your Community Comes to Life
Come to Life - Come To Wilton
Wilton LCC Campaign passes $1,650,000 mark in pledges.
Dear Friends,

Wilton enjoys a great history and an even brighter future. We are fortunate to live in a community that believes strongly in education, quality of life and economic development.

Over the past decade, Wilton’s population grew at twice the Muscatine County rate. Our median age of 34.9 and median household income of $49,402 compare favorably to state averages of 38.6 and $45,063.*

Parents and grandparents appreciate the Wilton Community School District’s terrific reputation and 12:1 student-teacher ratio. Students benefit from modern classrooms, computer labs, science labs, music programs, athletic facilities and even a small experimental farm.

Local industries are truly diversified and include steel processing, communications, packaging and electric companies. We use and value our many parks, recreational amenities and natural resources.

The main assets that Wilton lacks, which community leaders have recognized for more than 10 years, are a modern library and community center. This web site summarizes the vision, need, timeline and project details. To date we have raised more than $1.6 million.

Wilton means so much to our families and us, both personally and professionally. We made our contributions to the Library and Community Center campaign in appreciation for all that Wilton has made possible and for all that is still possible. We hope you’ll join us in helping the Library and Community Center come to life.

Sincerely,
Campaign Executive Committee
